SA Tyre Recyclers was formed in late 2005 in order to establish South Africa's newest and most up to date tyre recycling facility at Atlantis, Cape Town, SA.

As well as operating the most modern tyre recycling facility in South Africa, SA Tyre Recyclers works closely with local authorities and government bodies looking at recycling issues and environmental matters regarding post-consumer tyres.

The recycling capacity of the SA Tyre Recyclers plant is around 10,000 tonnes per annum which means around 1 million tyres of mixed sizes and types. With millions of tyres being discarded each year, the industry of tyre recycling has never been as vital.

This state of the art tyre recycling plant is located in Atlantis Industrial park and covers 25 000 sq meters.
